She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Glass and Minnie Glass (Bench); her husband Herman; her children, Patsy Buress and Herman Gant Jr.; and her siblings, Inez Jerrett, Albert Elis, Saul Elis, Richard Coleman, Robert, Arthur, Edward, Earl Elis and Starling Coleman.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mileasa Rollison (Jason) and Kevin Buress of Portland, OR; her great grandchildren, Raygene Skrinak, Morgan Rollison, Jazmin Rollison and Quinten Ramsey-Buress; her great great grandchild Jaleasa Sims; her nephews, Darrell Gant and Chuck Coleman; and her niece Mildred.

Memorials may be made to the Herman Gant Scholarship, 209 Lowell St. Castalia, OH 44824.
