He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Truly (Grady) and John Cruse; his stepfather Victor Truly; his children, Lisa and Adrian Cruse; and his brothers, Patrick Cruse, Nick, Buddy and Clement Grady.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Valerie A. Cruse; his granddaughter Shelby C. Cruse; and his great grandchild Anastasia. He is also survived by his great-nephews in Phoenix, AZ, and his grandsons.
