He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Elizabeth Clare Beatty (Dickerjack); and his brother Patrick L. "Pat" Beatty. He is survived by: his wife Amy C. Beatty (Zimmerman); his son Spencer Beatty (Colleen) of Akron; and his nephews, Ryan Beatty (Nicole Wigington) of Ironwood, MI and Chase Beatty (Ashley) of Rochester, N. Y..
