He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Harshman and Ruth Harshman; and his siblings, James Harshman, C. Robert Harshman, Richard Harshman, Glen Junior Harshman, Dale Harshman, John Harshman, Catherine Parsons, Linda Harshman, Margaret Bryant, JoAnn Gore, Mary Garner, Mabel Crawley and Phyllis Shull.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Gott); his sisters, Patricia Stracener (Carroll) of Muncie, IN and Joyce Atwood of Ormond Beach, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Harshman, Ruth Harshman and Doris Harshman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
