She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gruber and Verna Gruber (Ritzenthaler); her husband LeLand J. "Lee" Wuertz, Jr.; her daughter Linda Trautman; and her siblings, Rita Meredith, Catherine, Milliman, Jean, Whaley, Marjory Pasqualini, Robert and Warren Gruber.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wuertz (Sally Hill) of Marblehead and Vicki McCarley of Pinellas Park, FL; and her grandchildren, Amanda Rohrbacher (Justin), Nicole Ohlemacher (Michael), Sarah Trautman, Brittnay Spring (Brandon) and Michael Anthony McCarley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870; the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
