She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Eckler and Dorothy Eckler Sr. (Hiss); her husband Thomas A. Johnson Sr.; her great grandchild Thomas James Christman; and her sister JoAnne Poggiali.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie McGory (Tom) of Castalia, Sherry Priestas (Doug) of Sandusky, Thomas Johnson Jr. (Stephanie) of Sandusky and David Johnson (Amber) of Sandusky; and her siblings, Ann Wollf of Lima, Jacqueline Steinmetz (Cletus) of Shelby and Earl Eckler Jr. (Kathy) of Sandusky. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (429 Central Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
