He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gail Griffin (Gibbs); his sons, Bryan Griffin Sr. (Jackie) and Walt Anthony Griffin; his grandchildren, Bryan Griffin Jr., Bradley Griffin, Dallas Clark (Bryan), Wyatt Griffin, Marvin Griffin and Olivia Griffin; and his siblings, Marge Gowitzka (Robert), Katie Kessler, Wendy Petrick (Jo), Brenda Smith Griffin, Rich Griffin (Rose Mary) and Ronney Griffin (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
