With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Cristina Tinoco of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guillermo Cortes and Marina Cortes (Castañeda); and her husband Ricardo "Rick" S. Tinoco. She is survived by: her children, Almalinda Cruz (Jose) of Sandusky, Carmen Rodriguez (Luis) of Sandusky, Ricardo Tinoco, Jr. of Sandusky and Luis Tinoco (Kelly Palmer) of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Apostle Shumate, Jade Tinoco Shumate (Brandon Caldwell), Miguel Dominguez, Luis Dominguez Jr., Diego Shumate, Nereyda Tinoco-Joaquin, Israel Tinoco Joaquin, Ariel Tinoco Joaquin, Gabriella Tinoco, Issac Tinoco and Diamond Barnett; and her great grandchildren, Caydden Caldwell, Ricardo Shumate, Carson Shumate, William Stiles Shumate, Apostle Shumate Jr., Chloe Snyder Shumate and Asaiah Cambra Dominguez. She is also survived by four siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
