Lately, Sr. (Christine); his son Dakhai Lately; the mother of his child Shanice Adcock; his grandmother Minnie Ruffin; his siblings, Michael Lately, Jr., Jovon Lately, Michelle Lately, Brandon Pettis, MyQueesha Lately, Garris Lately, Elizabeth Lately and Terrance Holden; his aunt Patricia "TeTe" Ruffin; his uncles, Jack Ruffin, Leon Ruffin, Willie "Pete" Safore, W. D. Durrah and Robert Ruffin; and his cousins, William Ruffin Jr., Cornellus Ruffin and Delon Ruffin. He is also survived by brothers; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
