She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Firby and Grace Firby (Hammond); and her husband Dean Schenk. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Schenk (Robin) of Punta Gorda, FL, Kenneth Schenk (Martha) of Heath, OH and Elizabeth Safady (Ray) of Olmsted Township, OH; her grandchildren, Jillian, Daniel, Olivia, Simon, Lila, Nora and Evelyn; her sister Ruth Firby of Skokie, IL; her sister-in-law Bonnie Wightman (Vernon) of Sandusky, OH; and her friend Carol Hyde. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Lucille's name to the Humane Society of Erie County, the Hospice of the Western Reserve or a charity of your choice.
