He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis E. Maillard and Malinda M. Smith (Brough); his wife Elaine M. Maillard (Leibacher); his daughter Susan Hood; his brothers, Douglas and Ervin Maillard; and his stepfather Chester Smith.
He is survived by: his children, John Maillard (Barb) of Vickery, OH and Mary Wadsworth (Jeff) of Port Clinton, OH; his grandchildren, Trisha Eblin (John), Douglas Cooper, Elizabeth Maillard, Brent Maillard (Tiffany) and Molly Suarez (Todd); and his great grandchildren, Haley, Brendan, Cassidy Eblin, Gage Byington, Ava, Tate, Zeke Maillard and Sam Suarez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
