He was predeceased by: his parents, LaRoy V. Conklin and Lucinda Ellen Conklin (Closson); his wife Pauline; and his sisters, Elizabeth Duez and Dorothy Knauss.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Tonia) of Medina and Richard Conklin of Grand Ledge, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Justin Conklin, Jason Conklin, Scott Conklin and Kelly Roth. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
