It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth R. Van Ness of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Ness and Elizabeth Van Ness (Spieldenner); his former wife Maxine Smith; his son Tarrance Scott; his great great grandchild Kamdyn; his siblings, Mary Rufty, Alberta Hotz, Betty Nieset, Mildred Wojdyla, Ethel Young, Earl, James, Orrin and Roy Van Ness; his half-brother Lewis Spieldenner; and his former wife Juanita Mears Van Ness.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Parker of Sandusky, Steven Van Ness of Sandusky, Kenda Aldrich (Tom) of Lindsey, Richard Van Ness (Veronica) of Castalia and Kenneth II Van Ness (Dianne Trout) of Sandusky. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
