June Johnson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Johnson of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Michael Palmer and Ada Mae Palmer (Lutes); her son Chris N. Johnson; and her siblings, William, Bernard, Landon Palmer and Ruth Hunker.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, private graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery, with the Reverend Richard Henderson officiating.

“I met June through her son Chris in 2000 as he was going through some challenges. Chris and I lived in the same apartment building. I visited June in Sandusky on a couple road trips, once with my husband and once with my friend LeeAnne in the early 2000's and enjoyed our visits there for lemonade and snacks.. She showed us some arts and craft items she had made. I knew her as a really sweet and loving person with an optimistic outlook. She spoke about Chris and about her brother Bernard. I am very sorry that we fell out of touch. Recently we drove through Ohio and I thought of her and found this obit.”
