She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Webb; her children, Patricia Ann and Derrick L. Pearson; her grandson Darian L. Pearson; her great grandchild LaQuiera; her sisters, Louise Johnson, Alline Brown and Virginia Smith; her parents-in-law, Laura Alexander and Norman Alexander; and her siblings-in-law, Annie Pearson, Douglas MacArthur Pearson, Daniel Johnson, Eddie Smoot, John C. Brown and Claude Smith.

She is survived by: her husband L. Z.; her children, Felicia A. Pearson of Sandusky, Monicia L. Hall (Jonathan) of Sandusky and Roger White (Maureen) of Cleveland, OH.; her grandchildren, Marquis Pearson of Dayton, OH, Jamar Pearson of Sandusky, OH, Miah Pearson of Sandusky, OH, Miana Hall of Sandusky, OH and Arrick Pearson of Columbus, OH; her sisters, Emma Smoot of Sandusky, OH., Martha Webb of Sandusky, OH. and Tina Russell of New Haven, CT.; and her son Howard Carr (Sharon) of Sandusky. She is also survived by seven great- grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
