We bid farewell to Judith D. Bechtel of Sandusky, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Judith touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leibacher and Irene Leibacher (Behrendsen); and her siblings, James Leibacher and Elaine Maillard. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sons, Steven Bechtel (Molly) and Scott Bechtel (Maria); her grandchildren, Ashley Ramsey (JR), Sarah Lofton (Sam), Kevin Bechtel (Megan), Joshua Bechtel (Lindsay), Andrew Bechtel, Jacob Bechtel, Sarah Snyder and Samantha Snyder; and her brother Gerald Leibacher (Rebecca). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
