With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce M. Dawson of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Frederick and Rosa D. Rettinger (Lange); her husband Jack Darel Dawson; and her siblings, Janet Goncalves and Frederick Rettinger Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Terry Dawson (Betty) of Norwalk, Jacquelyn McGill (Jim) of Sandusky, Deborah Hemmer (late Jerry) of Fremont, Gregory Dawson (Sharon) of Findlay, Janien Dawson of Sandusky and Jeffry Dawson (Kim) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
