He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Lane and Edith Lane; his children, Sandy Brummer (Bob), Connie Hormell (Jim), Joe C. Lane, Robert Lane (Christine) and Thomas Lane (Donna); his wife Eleanor Lane; his sister Ruth Dodd; his former wife Lucy Lane; his daughter Nancy Lee Gorbach; and his siblings, Earl Lane and Marion Ebert. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
