He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Sr. Cross and Mary Cross; and his daughters, Crystal Y. Cross and Constance M. Caston. He is survived by: his wife Janet Y. Cross; his son Johnnie "Bengie" III; and his siblings, Joseph Cross and Mary Cross. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Assembly of Jesus Christ Church (3510 Beatty Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
