John Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thompson of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "John" and Helen Elizabeth Thompson (Volz); his grandsons, John and Caine Thompson; and his parents-in-law, William "Bill" and Jane Ann Weigel (Miller).
He is survived by: his wife Sally A. Thompson (Weigel); his children, Matthew (Heather) of Sandusky, Malia of Las Vegas, NV, Marcus and Maxwell Thompson of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Cambryn Farrar, Brea Thompson, Ace and Axl Thompson; and his siblings, Debra L. Beeker (David) of Gibsonburg, Daniel J. Thompson (Kay) of Castalia, David C. Thompson (Colleen) of Columbus, James W. Thompson (Kathy) and Ronald J. Thompson (Patricia "Petie") of Sandusky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to The Hearing Loss Association of America, 5155 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214 or to the Humane Society of Erie County 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
