He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stewart and Elizabeth Stewart (Houghton); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Stewart and Robert Byington. He is survived by: his close friend Nancy Byington; his wife Nancy; his children, Liza Agresta (Joe), Todd Stewart (Della) and John Stewart (Kerry); his grandchildren, Lizzie, Ian, Erin and Collin; and his brother Alfred Stewart (Jan Woods).
