He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Garlock, (Morton) and John L. Garlock, Sr.; and his stepson Mark R. Trautman. He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Hunsaker); his stepson Brandon Trautman (Cindy); his grandchildren, Braden and Bridey Trautman; his sisters, Kayren Reddaway (John) and Pam Grealy (Lynn); and his pets, Jazzy and Blue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family requests donations to be made to Sandusky Church of God or Erie County Humane Society.
