He was predeceased by: his parents, John LeRoy and Ruth Coffman, Jr. (Steffan); his wife Arlene M. Coffman (Whorff); his son-in-law Patrick J. Diemert; his brother Dale Coffman (Elizabeth "Betsy"); his niece Adry; and his nephew Derek Carney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Coffman-Diemert of Sandusky and Paige Doster of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Jamie Szulc (Chris), Daniel, Jessie and David Doster; his great grandchildren, Elsie and Foster; and his sisters, Peggy Carney and April Prentice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic health restrictions, the funeral services will be private.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's - Erie Shores, Northwest Ohio, 480 W. Dussel Drive, Suite 150, Maumee, OH 43537 or to one's favorite charity.
