He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Barone; and his grandparents, John, Angie Barone, Russell and Kay Kraus.

He is survived by: his mother Karol Barone of Sandusky; his daughters, Kristen and Erin Pollard (Aimo); his grandchildren, Conor, Penelope and Oliver; and his sisters, Kay O'Flaherty (Don) of Milan and Val Parritt (Mike) of Perrysburg. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Donations may be made in his name to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis,, TN 38105-9959.
