He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Salyers (McClellan). He is survived by: his father Noah K. Salyers; his wife Eileen M. Salyers (McLaughlin); his sons, Jerry Salyers (Nina) of Sandusky, Tracy Salyers (Mary) of Port Clinton, Brian Salyers (Tammy) of Gypsum, Chris Koehne (Holli) of Port Clinton and Jason Koehne (Mary) of Fremont; his brothers, Kennis Salyers (Dorothy) and Marvon Salyers of Port Clinton, OH.; and his grandchildren, Justin Salyers Sr., Shandell Crawford (Joshua), Rachel Mitchell (Adam), Jason Salyers (Alexis), Benjamin Salyers, Cody Salyers (Jenni), Brian Salyers Jr. Gage Miller, Chris Koehne, Riah McAllister and Alexis McAllister. He is also survived by 24 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Port Clinton Chapel (1124 Fulton St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
