James E. Rufener Obituary
The memory of James E. Rufener (Sandusky, Ohio), who passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of 55, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his father James Eugene Rufener; and his pet Daisy Mae. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Raff of Orrville, Ohio; his wife Shari Peace-Rufener; his children, Emily Boreman (Kyle) of Kansas City, BreeAnna Klein (Ray) of Sandusky and Zachary VanZandt of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Abigail, Annalise, Avery and Clarke; and his brother Dan Rufener (Kathy) of Kidron. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins; and a circle of special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
