She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine Daisher and Marie Daisher (Bouch); her husband Melvin P. Kurtz; and her brothers, Clarence "Toot" and Clair Daisher.

She is survived by: her daughter Diane Lentz (Rich) of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Jason Lentz (Shana) and Heather Lentz; her great grandchildren, Maia and Leah; and her sister Shirley Swarmer. She is also survived by numerous in-laws; and nieces and nephews.
