Howard Elgart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Elgart of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Elgart and Adam Elgart; his son Leonard Elgart; his grandson Derek Elgart; his sister Joyce Hunter; his half-sisters, Linda Elgart, Wilma Sprague and Betty Jean Rickard; and his son-in-law Mike Maschari.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Elgart (Walker); his daughters, Darlene Maschari and Chris Hedberg; his brother Richard (Debbie); his grandchildren, Taylor Hedberg and Marcus Elgart; and his great grandchildren, Ryker and Nyla Slauterbeck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky.
