Hester Maines Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2020, at the age of 70, Hester Maines of Sandusky, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Cleveland Ramsey and Evelyn Glenrose Ramsey (McPeek). She is survived by: her husband John E. Maines; her daughter Alicia Stefano of Sandusky; her grandchildren, John Mark Stefano, Claire Stefano and Ellyana Birmingham; and her brothers, Rodney Ramsey (Deborah), Howard Smith (Kim), Charles Smith (Karen) and Greg Smith (Diane). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of masks (will be offered) and social spacing will be recommended.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or to Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870.
