He was predeceased by: his parents, Isham Smith and Barbara Smith; and his former wife Jacqueline Smith. He is survived by: his wife Annette Smith (Hunter); his sister Dale Young (Reef) of Sandusky; and his children, Herbert Smith, Jr. of Trenton, Stephen Hunter (Aracely) of Vista, Quinton Hunter of Sandusky, Sandria Hunter of Sandusky and Dwaun Hunter (Jordan) of Sandusky. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
