She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles G. Ging and May Ging (Bouchard); her husband Chalres M. Smith; her sisters, Gloria A. Ging and Ellie Schnurr; and her grandparents, Alexander, Grace Bouchard, Albert and Katherine Ging.

She is survived by: her children, Charles William Smith (Darlene Brady) of Strongsville, Thomas Francis Smith (Geralyn Cole) of Norwalk, Anne Marie Summers of Sandusky and Edward Timothy Smith of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Charles Smith (Kim), Mary Daniel (Pete), Brian Smith (Kriste), Julie Fidler and R. C. Summers (Missy); her great grandchildren, Ben Smith, Alec Smith, Tyler Stewart, Darcy Daniel, Dane Smith, Jacob Smith, DeAnna Smith, Gina Smith, Alana Fidler, Joey Smith and Kaylee Summers; her great great grandchildren, Clara Smith, Evie Smith and Ellie Smith; and also, Bill and Sandy Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
