She is survived by: her children, Robert Root (Loretta) and Kelly Root Bodde (David); her grandchildren, Jordan Bodde Chaney (Jared) and David Bodde (Peyton); her great grandchildren, Coen Jae Andrew Sobczak, Emma Rae Helen Bodde and Kieran Jaymes Robert Chaney; her nephew Michael Griffith; and her cousin Jane Weaver.
