She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Irby and Alice Chambers; her son James Thomas; and her grandson Leo Smith. She is survived by: her sister Mattie Sade Pringle; and her children, Dale Irby (Brenda), Frances Smith (Leo) and Natrika Thomas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
