It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gelhar (Sandusky, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bodnar and Anna Bodnar (Ceizayeh); her husband Frank H. Gelhar; and her siblings, Ann Fox and Joe Bodner.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Gelhar (Barbara) of Brunswick and Russell Gelhar (Laurel) of Sandusky; and her grandchildren, Pamela Coolbaugh, Kathy Kahn, Timothy Gelhar and David Gelhar. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; two nieces and two nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 608 King St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
