He was predeceased by: his father Garland Sage Sr.; his brother Daniel Sage; and his great-niece Brittney Sexton. He is survived by: his mother Frances Sage (Fox); his sons, Zachery Sage of Elyria and Spencer Bahnsen of Sandusky; and his siblings, Garland Sage Jr. of Sandusky, Gary Sage (Anna) of Sandusky, Kitty Young (Rick) of Texas and Heather Thompson (Matthew). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
