George H. Wood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Wood of Sandusky, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Wood and Nina Wood (Only); his wife Josephine; and his siblings, Kathryn Kurtz, Virginia Rinker, Tom Wood and Bill Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Terry), Sandy Jenkins and Craig Wood (Darlene). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Merry-Go-Round Museum.
