With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary James Petersen Jr. of Sandusky, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his mother Dora J. Petersen Sr. (Kurtz); and his in-laws, Edward and Beverly Andres. He is survived by: his wife Dedre Petersen (Andres); his father Gary J. Petersen Sr. (Rebecca); and his siblings, JoAnne Vollmar (Tom) of Fremont, Dennis Petersen (Jeri) of Sandusky and Brian Petersen of Sandusky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (120 Ohio St, Huron, OH 44839).
