He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Ostheimer (Boetticher); his parents, Franklin J. Ostheimer and Minnie Ostheimer (Ackerman); his brothers, David Ostheimer and Alvin "Butch" Ostheimer; his brother-in-law Harold "Sonny" Boetticher; and his friend Lawrence "Larry" Seiler.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Ostheimer and Chad Ostheimer (Jennifer); his grandsons, Zachary and Owen; his siblings, Judith Scroggy (Charles), Sandra Ostheimer, Donna Ostheimer and William Ostheimer (Lee Ann); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon L. Ostheimer and Sandra Boetticher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
