With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin D. Cates (Sandusky, Ohio), born in Perrysville, Ohio, who passed away on March 17, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd C. and Cora Cates (Gillmore); his stepdaughter Devon Nytko; and his siblings, Josephine Brown, Kenneth Cates and John Cates.
He is survived by: his spouse Norma Reimer Lewis; his stepsons, Larry Lewis (Marie) of Salem and James Lewis of Perrysville; and his brother Marvin Cates of Perrysville. He is also survived by his parents, his wife.
