He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Link and Ameila Link (Singler); and his siblings, Dorothy "Dort" Burtch, Jeanne Weyer, Larry, Francis "Bud" and David.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Jennifer Lippus (John) of Sandusky; and his nephew Monsignor Charles E. Singler (D. Min). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In 2000, his contributions to Catholic education and his alma mater were recognized with a C.Y.B.E.R. Award.
