He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex McKenna and Alma McKenna (Ging); his daughter Sharon Austin; his grandson Jeffrey J. McKenna; his son-in-law Jim Rowles; his brothers, Louis "Lou" McKenna, James "Jim" McKenna and Faber McKenna; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice, Elsie and Kay McKenna.

He is survived by: his wife Janis E. McKenna (Cook); his children, Timothy McKenna (Sherry) of Sandusky, John McKenna (Susan) of Frisco, TX, Elizabeth "Beth" McKenna of Parma, Molly Windisch (Doug) of Sandusky, Julie Stokes (Peter) of Catawba Island and Jennifer "Jenny" Rowles of Oak Harbor, OH; his grandchildren, Kari, Kristy, Matthew, Tami, Jacob, Kelli, Drew, Dane, Aaron, Kyle and Patrick; and his son-in-law Chuck Austin of Ft. Wayne, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Do to the current Coronavirus pandemic restrictions the funeral services will be private.
