She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Irvin Boyd and Frankie Elizabeth Martin Boyd; her son Kenneth I. Simmons; her siblings, Ellen Smith, Melvin Boyd, Edward Boyd, Viola Hancock, Eva Simpson, Florene Harkness, James Boyd, Loretha McKinney and Minnie Robinson; her granddaughter Mya Hernandez; and her former husband Wadell Wm.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Annette of Sandusky, Tanya of Elyria and Wadell, Jr. (Michelle) of Toledo; her brother Floyd Boyd of Millersburg; her daughters-in-law, Yvette Henson of Columbus, Priscilla Smith of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Simmons of Niles; her grandchildren, Kenneth D. Simmons of Columbus, Vincent Simmons of Sandusky, Thirkee Simmons of Berlin Heights, Darrian Scott of Toledo, Wadell, III of Akron, Samuel Simmons of Toledo, Nia Davis of Cleveland, Nicole Davis of Parma, Narisha Davis of Cuyahoga Falls, Myriah McCoy of San Francisco, Lyric Johnson of Port Clinton, Alexis Hernandez of Norwalk, Juleah Palmison of Huron, Kamaria Hernandez of Huston, TX and Kendra Johnson of Sandusky; and her close friends, Betty Simmons and Betty McKind. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
