He was predeceased by: his father Eric Ackerman, Sr.; and his grandparents, Edward Ackerman and Myrtle Croxton. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Ackerman; his daughters, Aurora and Leela; his mother Kitty Olivares; his siblings, Becky Truitt (Tom), Ed Ackerman (Shanna), Joe Ackerman (Brooke), Jim Berardi (Jessie) and Matt Heidl; and his grandmother Shirley Ackerman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric's name to one's favorite charity.
