With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Fitzthum (Sandusky, Ohio), who passed away on May 14, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Durell Arlo and Evelyn Mapus (Dresser); her husband Eugene "Gene" Fitzthum, Sr.; her daughters, Jane Gangwisch (Richard) of Sandusky and Lisa Wilhelm of Las Vegas, NV; her stepchildren, Colleen Wolf of Sandusky, Robert Fitzthum (Sue) of Wichita, KS, Eugene Fitzthum, Jr. (Donna), James Fitzthum (Diane) of Sandusky and Barry Fitzthum (Tana) of Amboy, WA; her brother Tom Mapus of Sandusky; her former husband Edwin J. Wilhelm; her son Mark Wilhelm; her stepson Brad Fitzthum; and her siblings, Janice Russell and Don Mapus. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
