He is survived by: his spouse Mickey Denault; his children, Ashley McKnight of Oshawa, Edwin McKnight (Courtney) of Oshawa, Malik Reid of Oshawa, Shannon Denault (Dirk Caldwell) of Iroquois Falls, Darcy Lynn Grenier (Zack) of Val Gagné and Albert Denault (Adèle McLean) of Iroquois Falls; his grandchildren, Kane, Avery, Geravin, T. J., Riley, Victoria, Emma, Payton and Cassius; his great grandchild R. J.; his siblings, Frank McKnight (Lori), Omar McKnight (Susie), Ingrid Lawson, Jr. (Josh) and Joaquin McKnight; his sister-in-law Pattie; and his close friend Andy Romain. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
