Edward Vangeloff Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Edward Vangeloff of Sandusky, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Vangeloff and Maria Vangeloff (Ahmak); his brothers, Theodore (Nedesha Vangeloff) and Walter (Doris Vangeloff); and his brother-in-law Jim Cicero.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Nickoloff; his sons, Kevin Vangeloff (Kristen) of Delaware, OH, Tom Vangeloff (Mary) of Cincinnati, OH, Ken Vangeloff (Laura) of Roscoe, IL and Don Vangeloff (Shelly Southwell) of Costa Mesa, CA; and his sister Virginia Cicero of Pittsburgh, PA.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peninsula Chapel (7755 E Harbor Rd, Lakeside Marblehead, OH 43440). A prayer will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel (7755 E Harbor Rd, Lakeside Marblehead, OH 43440). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Assumption Orthodox Church (114 E Main St, Lakeside Marblehead, OH 43440). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Catawba Island Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Edward may be given to Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Marblehead, OH.

“I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing, condolences to all his family and friends. I didn't know him well, but I will say he mad a lasting impression. His kindness, humor, and overall zest for life was something to behold. We kept in touch with only Christmas cards over the last 11 years.... they always made me smile!
