He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin J. Grathwol and Veronica A. Grathwol (Hamburger); his wife J. Mary Grathwol (Capicchioni); his brothers, Robert and John Grathwol; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Capicchioni, Marlene Grathwol, Mary Ann Grathwol, Paul Hunt and Frank Capicchioni.
He is survived by: his children, Susan White (Mark) of Sandusky and Kyle Grathwol of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Jennifer Stutzman (Robb), Michael Grathwol (Sophie), Nicholas Hohler (Emily) and Abigail Hohler; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Ruby Thompson, Noah, Heidi, Sadie Stutzman, Brody, Delaney Hohler, Clare, Patrick and Mary Grathwol; his brother James Grathwol of Sandusky; and his sister-in-law Amelia Hunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
