He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lipp and Mary Lipp (Tigges); his wife Dorothy H. Lipp (Scott); his son-in-law David D. Rupp, Sr.; and his brother Arthur "Art" Lipp.
He is survived by: his children, Judith M. "Judy" Rupp of Sandusky and James E. "Jim" Lipp (Phyllis) of Sandusky; and his sister Marguerite Cooley of Heath, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
