He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Andres and Beverly A. Andres (Stookey). He is survived by: his wife Susan Andres (Brotzki); his children, Laura Bennett, Lisa Andres (Michael Moore) and Joseph Andres (Kelsey); his grandsons, Ethan and Owen Bennett; and his sister Dedre Petersen (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
