He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara DeLapp (Zerman) and Eugene A. Schlett; and his stepfather Harry A. DeLapp. He is survived by: his son Samuel Schlettt of Sandusky; his grandson Carter A. Sears; his former wife Cheri Schlett (Baumbusch) of Sandusky; his sister Melissa Grahl (Thomas) of Sandusky; and his stepbrother Craig DeLapp (Bonnie) of Huron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
